Time

Once again it has been a while since I have posted anything. I swear I do not know where the time goes. When did our Max grow up to be 4. 4 I say. I can't believe it. Ava will be 2 in just over 3 months. WHAT???? I just had her. Now she is walking, screaming at Max, and talking when she feels the urge.
Easter has come and gone for the year. Dallas and I have had birthdays. My best friend had her 3rd baby, and man is she beautiful. I am a total looser and have yet to go and see her. Steph, the time I was close we all had killer colds and I know you did not want us within 10 miles of your house.

Max is almost through his 2nd year of pre-school and keeps going back and forth on wanting to go to kindergarten. I am not ready for him to be old enough for kindergarten. He is still my little boy and I want to keep him that way as long as possible. Not much longer. He is so smart and always wants to know things in great detail. No short, quick answer for him. It has to be a long 5-10 minute discussion about anything and everything that comes up. I love it.

Ava is growing like a weed, but she is of course a flower. She changes every time I go to get her out of her crib. Her hair is getting long and does not look to bad where Max gave her a little trim. It is growing back nicely. Her personality is so much different than Max's. They are so much fun and exhausting. Ava is a little mother, she loves to pat Max on the head or rub his back when he is upset. She is always concerned if someone is a little off. She loves chap stick, lotion, foundation (I have a huge spot on the carpet to prove it), and anything girl. She is 100% girl, with an occasional gun thrown in there. She is a blast. She goes nonstop, she is our daredevil, I know that I am going to walk into the kitchen one day and she will be standing on the fridge. I am not looking forward to that day.

Just a couple quick notes on what Max has said the last little while.

We were at my mom's for Easter, he ran into the house and let me know that he needed to poop.

Max sitting on the toilet:
Mom, my bum cheeks are soo full.

Mom, are my cheeks red?
Yes Max they are.
Max: I bet they are mom, because I am pushing as hard as I can.

Mom, I had to let that one go. I'm sorry.

Man, that was hard. I think I need some more protein mom.

Well, Max I don't think protein is the answer, how about some fiber.

I will post some pictures soon. I hope sooner rather than later. My
computer at home is not working so well, but I will try to get some
on here soon.

Have a great day.

Just A Note

This morning I came across a quote that really hit home for me.
So just a short note to say hello everyone out there, thanks for
stopping by and without further ado the quote:

"Our Lives begin to end they day we
become silent about things that matter."

Have a great day

Where oh Where!!

Where on where does the time go. It has been eons since I have posted anything. There has been A LOT going on in our lives this past year. Our kids have grown so much. To me it feels like only months ago Ava was a baby. She will be two, two for crying out loud, in July. Max is his usual self. Running around and causing all the mayham that he can. Occasionaly tormenting his sister, but overall being a great big brother. He is so excited for pre-school graduation that he is counting down the months, weeks, and days. In a year or so he will add counting down the hours, minutes and seconds until some great thing is to happen. Max has a ton of little friends right here in the neighborhood and now that it is getting a little warmer and staying light later he thinks that all there is to life is being outside and playing. He never wants to come in for dinner, but come 9 o'clock he is starving. He also needs to be in bed by then, but how do you put a starving 4 year old to bed? By doing so, we usually get a little guy crawling in bed with us about 1 o'clock saying he is hungry and can he please have a string cheese or better yet, just give him the jar of peanut butter and he is in heaven. That kid could eat a jar of peanut butter a day if allowed to do so. He does not want a sandwhich, he just wants the jar, to have just a taste he says.
We have had a tough year this past year. There has been a lot go on, but that is for another post. I just wanted to let everyone know that we are alive and well, other than an occasional runny nose for feaver. No major illnesses in a couple months and now that I have said it, something will come up.
We are headed to Fayette this weekend for Haylie's birthday. Max is sooo excited and can bearly contain himself, but that is the case whenever we are headed down south to see his mee maw. For him there is nothing in this world better than getting to go to Fayette and spend a few days. He is always sure to let Dallas and I know that he would like to have sleepovers minus mom and dad. Mom and dad seem to hamper some of the fun. He loves the fact that he can run wild and do so all day long. He always sleeps better for a few nights after he has been down and ran out almost every ounce of energy in his body.
Ava is calling for her momdy from the other room, so I guess it is time for me to sign off. Momdy is what she calls Dallas or I when she is not sure who she wants or when she is super excited. It melts my heart when daddy gets home and she runs up to him and just hangs on his legs until he picks her up and loves on her. She loves with all she has. I love my little family more that I am able to put into words. What a boring and wasted life it would be without them.

Max

Just a quick note. Yeah, I know that there is a TON of stuff that I need to update, but honestly who has the time or energy. Sorry about the Valentines background maybe it will be changed soon.
Anyways, back to Max.
Last night we were coming home from Fayette and he was sooo tired. He was talking a million miles a minutes and asking too many questions to ask, but he did say some pretty cute things.
We had been talking about my dad and after a few minutes, the following took place.
Me: Max you can talk to Heavenly Father anytime.
Max: How will he hear me.
Me: He can hear everything you say to him.
Max: Well I guess I am going to have to yell really loud.

Man I love that kid.

Where oh where

Where has the time gone. I really suck at this blogging thing the last
while. I can't believe that Thanksgiving, Christmas, Birthdays, New
Years, and Martin Luther King Day have come and gone. Where oh
where has the time gone. My baby is 6 months old. My baby boy
started pre-school. I started a new job. :( :)
We have done a lot in the last 3 months.
Max, daddy and I went to Disney on Ice. It was great fun. Max loved
it. My camera took a crap and died on the way. I didn't know until
4 weeks later when I went to download pictures and not one of them
worked. I did not have pictures on Disney on Ice, Thanksgiving,
Me Maw and Grandpa Kelly's kids Christmas Party, or Grandma Mellor's
Christmas party. I was not a happy camper to say the least.
If I had known that my camera had decided to join the land of no longer
working electronics, I could have gotten a new one at a great price on ta
day after Thanksgiving sale, but i didn't so on Christmas Eve I was at
wal-mart trying to find just a camera that would take pictures.
Every camera that I wanted they were sold out of. What the heck, this
is wal-mart on Christas Eve and you don't have 90% of your cameras.
Man I don't like wal-mart on Christmas Eve. Well, now that I have vented
much too long about my camera and you would thing that we had, had
a world altering event, I will move on to something else.

The day after Thanksgiving we moved. We said Good bye to West Jordan, Utah
and made our way south. It was a hard move and we miss our house, but
it was done with great faith and dreams of better days once daddy is through
school. Man when will that be??

We had some amazing Christmas Parties with close and distant family. It is
always great to get together and visit and reminisce. We had my parents kid's
Christmas Party and it was fun, pinata and all. The kids got way too much candy
and made way too many Cookies. We had great food. We always have great food.
We had Grandma Mellor's Christmas get together and it was great. We all met
at Golden Corral and ate way tooo much food.
We got together at Mike and Michelle's a few days before Christmas and exchanged
gifts. It was a blast and the food was great. Thanks Mike. Oh, and thank you too Michelle. :)
We love you Michelle.. The kids got entirely too many presents and I thought
that was no longer any need for Santa to visit a few days later, but of course he did.
Christmas was great. We spent it in our new home and it came and went so quickly.
I never really got into the Christmas spirit and before I knew it, it was gone.
New Years was uneventful. We spent time together, just our little family, and it
was great.

I started a new job the first part of January, so Dallas can go back to school. I love
my job, but it is hard being away from the kids. Sometimes I feel like I am missing
out on their lives. Sometimes I wonder if it is worht it, but once we are through
school and we look back on it, I am sure we will be glad that we did it. The kids
are young enough I hope they will not be ruined for life.

Life is good and on we go. I will get some updated pictures on in a few days.
