Where on where does the time go. It has been
eons since I have posted anything. There has been A LOT going on in our lives this past year. Our kids have grown so much. To me it feels like only months ago Ava was a baby. She will be two, two for crying out loud, in July. Max is his usual self. Running around and causing all the mayham that he can. Occasionaly tormenting his sister, but overall being a great big brother. He is so excited for pre-school graduation that he is counting down the months, weeks, and days. In a year or so he will add counting down the hours, minutes and seconds until some great thing is to happen. Max has a ton of little friends right here in the neighborhood and now that it is getting a little warmer and staying light later he thinks that all there is to life is being outside and playing. He never wants to come in for dinner, but come 9 o'clock he is starving. He also needs to be in bed by then, but how do you put a starving 4 year old to bed? By doing so, we usually get a little guy crawling in bed with us about 1 o'clock saying he is hungry and can he please have a string cheese or better yet, just give him the jar of peanut butter and he is in heaven. That kid could eat a jar of peanut butter a day if allowed to do so. He does not want a sandwhich, he just wants the jar, to have just a taste he says.
We have had a tough year this past year. There has been a lot go on, but that is for another post. I just wanted to let everyone know that we are alive and well, other than an occasional runny nose for feaver. No major illnesses in a couple months and now that I have said it, something will come up.
We are headed to Fayette this weekend for Haylie's birthday. Max is sooo excited and can bearly contain himself, but that is the case whenever we are headed down south to see his mee maw. For him there is nothing in this world better than getting to go to Fayette and spend a few days. He is always sure to let Dallas and I know that he would like to have sleepovers minus mom and dad. Mom and dad seem to hamper some of the fun. He loves the fact that he can run wild and do so all day long. He always sleeps better for a few nights after he has been down and ran out almost every ounce of energy in his body.
Ava is calling for her momdy from the other room, so I guess it is time for me to sign off. Momdy is what she calls Dallas or I when she is not sure who she wants or when she is super excited. It melts my heart when daddy gets home and she runs up to him and just hangs on his legs until he picks her up and loves on her. She loves with all she has. I love my little family more that I am able to put into words. What a boring and wasted life it would be without them.
